Gizmodo posted this fun look at why canned beer is just as good or better than bottled beer and why it just might be the future of craft beer:

Not sure I agree with everything in here and the discussion after the article is full of complainers and people who obviously don't get it, but it's a fun read none-the-less.

What do you think is the better way to deliver your favorite craft beer?

Although some of the 21A beers are ok, the only truly great beer I have ever had from a can was Ska Brewing's Modus Hoperandi (although I hear Surly's Furious is pretty special!). The only issue I had was it was much more enjoyable in a pint glass. Allowing the hop aroma to be expressed is a must to enjoy this brew the way it was meant to be. +1 to packaging in cans, -1 to drinking IPA’s from them.

@Chris - agreed. Cans are fine and dandy for storage and portability, but drinking out of them is less than stellar. Of course I prefer beer in a glass 99% of the time whether it comes out of a can, bottle or box.
